As part of its development in Belgium, the company is currently looking for a Service Manager for its passenger cars division in Mechelen.
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading the aftersales department of the site. Your objective is to ensure customer satisfaction, team performance, and operational excellence. You will act as both a coach and a leader, guiding your team while implementing action plans to improve efficiency, processes, and results.

Your Mission
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading the aftersales department of the site. Your objective is to ensure customer satisfaction, team performance, and operational excellence. You will act as both a coach and a leader, guiding your team while implementing action plans to improve efficiency, processes, and results.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and coach a team of Service Advisors, Claims/Invoice specialists, and Workshop Supervisors.
- Translate company objectives into concrete action plans and ensure their successful execution.
- Monitor workload, team organization, and ensure a strong team spirit by setting the right example.
- Guarantee excellent customer experiences, ensuring transparency, reliability, and trust.
- Support your team and step in when required to solve operational challenges.
- Ensure smooth communication between management and your team, embodying the company’s values and culture.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, customer satisfaction, and team development.
Exigences
Do you have what it takes?
- Native Dutch speaker, with fluent French (essential, as 40–50% of clients are French-speaking); English is a plus.
- 10–15 years of experience in the automotive sector, including:
- 5–10 years as a Service Advisor in premium brands (Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi ideally).
- 2–5 years of management experience (leading teams of 5–10 people).
- Strong leadership and people management skills: able to motivate, engage, and inspire your team.
- Charismatic and customer-focused, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Hands-on, with field experience in aftersales and workshop operations.
- Holder of a valid driving license (B).
